Whilst in New Zealand the strong winds that caused so much of the bushfire problems had also blown over our metal arch.
So we whipped this one weekend as a replacement out of some 2nd Hand stuff Neville gave us.

Jo's first go at a feature wall in our bedroom. Personally I think my shelf sets it off nicely.

BBQ_240202 001.jpg (58899 bytes)

The Beginning, brickwork by Calum. This took me 2 days.

Lesson here: Bricklaying sucks and it's harder than it looks..

Finished BBQ 1.jpg (88772 bytes) Finished BBQ 4.jpg (98332 bytes) Finished BBQ 3.jpg (115304 bytes)

The end product, complete with new BBQ after Nev (father in law) took charge.
I have discovered my skills lie in project management rather than construction

New tiles out the front, check out the house pages for what it looked like before

Well the pergola has finally had the ugly concrete covered with tiles (click here for a look before) .
The design was Jodie's and Neville (with a bit of help from me) has done a most excellent job.
Now for some decent outdoor furniture (Nev's Our next project).
